June 12th is World Wind Day ... but if you happen to live in certain sections of Wichita, Kansas, you would have sworn they should have celebrated this occasion on April 3rd.

That's the day when severe winds reaching up to 100 mph roared through neighborhoods causing massive damage. One of those areas hard hit was The Moorings community. Dozens of homes with concrete tile roofing materials were completely destroyed.

Technical InformationThen there were the homes with DaVinci Roofscapes polymer roofing products that minimal or no damage at all. Why? Because our composite roofing materials are manufactured to stand up to Mother Nature.

  • Class A Fire Rating (Fire Test ASTM E 108)
  • 110 MPH Sustained wind test (ASTM D3161 - same as UL 997 Wind Uplift)
  • TAS-100
  • TAS-125

And have achieved the following:

  • Miami Dade Code Approval
  • Florida Building Code Approval
  • ICC-ES (ESR-2119)
  • Texas Department of Insurance Approval

What does all of this mean? It means our products have achieved top approvals and ratings to help keep your property (and what's under the roof) safe. Please review the testing results for our Slate and Shake as well as Bellaforté products for details on each test passed and approval received.
